The Event
In early August Advanced Kiosk received a call from Ms. Dana Ross, The Coordinator for Special Events and Marketing Promotions for the Texas Dept of Agriculture. She told us they needed several kiosks for the State Fair of Texas. These kiosks were needed to survey visitors, collect information, and inform users of facts about the Go Texan Campaign and the Texas Wine Consul.
After reviewing the project with Ms. Ross, Advanced Kiosks deliver three turn-key kiosks to the Texas Dept. of Agriculture for the 3 weeks of the fair. These kiosks were shipped with fully developed, installed and tested interfaces on all the systems. Ms. Dana Ross from the Texas department of Agriculture said “Advanced Kiosk made our data collection with the kiosks easy. Their project manager took the questions we needed answered and laid out a great interface that made us look good.”
The Interface
When these kiosks were received at the Texas State Fair, all they had to do was mount them to the wall, plug them in, click on the “start survey” button on the screen and walk away.
Click on the interfaces below to see the whole interface created for the State Fair of Texas, or click on the interface section of the Advanced Kiosks website. Since these kiosks collected all he information that was entered,Advanced Kiosksinstalled and setup a database on each of the kiosks to record the Data the customers entered.

“The Texas Department of Agriculture was proud to have Advanced Kiosk as a partner during the 2007 State Fair of Texas. Their professional and attentive staff combined with cutting-edge technology helped extract valuable consumer information”

The Results
The kiosk were delivered to the state fair grounds a couple of days before the event and quickly installed. During the next 3 weeks, over 3,600 registered and used the three kiosks. Ms. Dana Ross from the Texas department of Agriculture said “The installation of the kiosks took only minutes, then we turned them on and double clicked on the Start Survey button and it worked just like the preview that was emailed to us the week before. After we tried the survey, I clicked on the See Survey Data button and I was able to see that the Data Base was working. Later in the Fair I reviewed the data people were entering using this feature.”button and I was able to see that the Data Base was working. I later reviewed the data people were entering using this feature”
Over 3,600 people filled out the Texas surveys
Displays Monitors
Control System
Advanced Kiosks has released their new Display Monitor Control System. Our control systems are designed for the medium to small display deployment where ease of use is the priority. Rather than a system run by a server, our Display Control Software is designed so each display is a stand alone system able to connect to another computer on the network. Each display system will download new content and new instructions on how it should operate. It can pull this information from your desktop, a server or any computer on the system.
