In early August Advanced Kiosk received a call from Ms. Dana Ross, The Coordinator for Special Events and Marketing Promotions for the Texas Dept of Agriculture. She told us they needed several kiosks for the State Fair of Texas. These kiosks were needed to survey visitors, collect information, and inform users of facts about the Go Texan Campaign and the Texas Wine Consul.

Boston MBTA Kiosk Project
DVD Rental Kiosk
The design and development of the fully automated DVD rental kiosk was a joint project between H32 Design and Development and Advanced Kiosks. This fully automated and secure CD & DVD storage system was designed for self service use in a public area. Each Storage Library has a storage capacity of 900 CD’s or DVD’s in a slim case, and the ability to vend or store any of its 900 DVD’s or CD’s in 15 seconds or less. Need more capacity, the library can be modified to hold 1,200 DVD’s, you can also link up to 3 Storage Libraries together and store up to 3,600 cases!

After a lengthy proposal and bidding process, Advanced Kiosks beat out many other vendors to win the Boston MBTA Intelligent Transportation Kiosks System contract. Advanced Kiosks has worked closely with Intelligent Systems and Controls (iSYS) to provide the state of the art informational system. This custom kiosk system will provide travelers with up to the minute information while traveling in the Boston Metro area as well as current information on events in Boston. These kiosks meet the highest standards and will be one of the most advanced kiosk projects in the country. ADA, UL compliance, and a 42 inch plasma screen above each kiosk.
