The customer interface is what your customers will see on the screen of the kiosks or Display monitor. This interface is designed such that your customer can interact with the interface and get the results they want. This interface can be elaborate as full multi-media interface including: animated characters, sound effects, movies, graphics, and whatever else is needed to interact and satisfy your customers. How this is designed is an art as much as a science. Programs with poorly designed interfaces are harder to use and customers get frustrated. The best example of this is the comparison of Apple to early PC interfaces. The Apple operating system was much easier to use and attracted many loyal followers years before Microsoft came out with windows. Please go to the Interfaces section of this website for more on this subject, but first read the material below for important information on other software aspects.
