KYLE, TEXAS, August 12, 2011 - The Environmental Protection Agency, Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) and City of Kyle, Texas have given the public a new way to learn more about the serious subject of water. They have installed interactive computer kiosks in several locations throughout the city, which is located roughly 20 miles southwest of Austin.

The self-service kiosks, supplied by Advanced Kiosks, display educational modules by interactive touch screen, and the user can listen to mini-lessons on a myriad of water subjects, such as watersheds and nonpoint source pollution, wastewater treatment process and operation and maintenance of aerobic and conventional septic systems.

Fire Smart Education Program

NEW YORK CITY (June 2011) —Advanced Kiosks and Comic Book Superheroes were on hand to share fire safety lessons at the FDNY Fire Safety Store at Rockefeller Plaza to kick off the Fire Smart Education Program. A crowd of over 60 students and adults filled the store to see Spider Man and Captain America swoop in and to interact with the fire safety kiosk loaded with tips, games and videos.

The computer kiosk is one of several being used as part of an ongoing effort to share fire prevention and safety lessons with the public.

DALLAS TEXAS (August 2010)Advanced Kiosks was selected to provide interactive kiosks at the State Fair Texas Lottery display. The Texas Lottery was a major sponsor of The State Fair of Texas (the largest state fair in the country). Spanning 24 days and having an attendance of just over 3 million people annually, this event is one of the premier marketing opportunities in the country.

TBS Promotions was responsible for activation of the Texas Lottery display area. This included selecting the appropriate type of kiosks to be used on-site. "We needed equipment that would be reliable and stand up to the heavy traffic that passes thru The Fair," said TBS Vice President, Terry Lynne. We researched several vendors and selected Advanced Kiosks.

Advanced Kiosks beat out many other companies for the HUDS project to install display monitors and kiosks in all 13 of the Harvard University student dining facilities. These kiosks and 4- inch monitors were used to educate the students on the food they eat as well as HUDS work in environmentalism, services and the food literacy project.

These kiosks were needed to survey visitors, collect information, and inform users of facts about the Go Texan Campaign.
