Advanced Kiosks Builds Kiosks for Boston MBTA

Wilmot, NH – March 17, 2004 – Advanced Kiosks announced today that they have been awarded a contract to provide Boston Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) informational kiosks for the Boston South Station. As part of the contract, Advanced Kiosks will be designing and outfitting the station with eight informational kiosks which will help the public find the best transportation routes for their destinations.

“We are proud that Boston MBTA is implementing the latest Advanced Kiosks technology to develop public service kiosks,” says Howard Horn, principal of H32, the parent company of Advanced Kiosks. “Based on our previous experiences, and our ability to use advanced technology to develop customized solutions that achieve positive results, we are confident that Boston MBTA will witness a virtually seamless execution of this project.”

The interactive kiosks will be able to give up-to-the-minute information on traveling in the Boston area, flights out of Logan Airport, as well as information about the many events and attractions the area has to offer.
